The DuxTel Commander solution has been developed specifically to take full advantage of the power and flexibility of the MikroTik RouterOS platform.

With a range of models to choose from, there is MikroTik RouterBoard system to suit every DuxCommander application, including Wired and Wireless ISP, community infrastructure, public access freenet, serviced office, corporate, government and education.

The DuxTel Commander utilises specific routerOS functionality to achieve many of the advanced features supported, including:

• captive portal login page administration
  Manage login page templates and custom MOTD text from a single central interface.

• captive portal walled garden management
  Create multiple sets of Walled Garden (free to acces) URLs, then select sets to push out to multiple locations with one mouse click!

• manage and monitor access controllers
  Monitor and manage multiple access controllers, hotspots, and internet gateways. RouterOS VPN functionality allows us to build a virtual private network delivering IP level connectivity to even device on the Commander system.

• user account control
  Manage multiple user accounts at multiple locations. Manage roaming from a single central interface.

• one step customer provisioning
  Provisioning of new customers via a single data entry form, or allow customers to subscribe themselves for a completely hands-off provisioning process!

• flexible access plan administration
  Create access plans based on time and/or download limits, access speed, and more. Perfect for limited free access services, as well as public hotspot or accommodation complex services

• user tracking and path tracing
  Thanks to the powerful RouterOS captive portal 'Hotspot' system, the DuxTel Commander is able to record presentation of individual connected devices on specific network locations. Ideal for metropolitan and suburban retail centres and
  tourism precincts, the DuxCommander system can produce maps showing paths traversed by individual visitors throughpught the access network!

• roaming and mobility
  Uses the routerOS MAC-Authentication support to record and identify individual devices, mapped to the relevant user account for authorisation and accounting.

• VPN roaming
  Taking advantage of the multiple virtual AP features of routerOS allows the duxTel commander to deliver access to independent private networks in a shared infrastructure environment like a serviced office or apartment complex environment. Users are able to access corporate file and print services from the shared boardroom, or access home automation systems from the communal outdoor facilities.
